Waterfalls

Water falls are born when different kinds of rock wear away at different speeds. Soft rock is worn away first, leaving a step of hard rock.

The two biggest waterfalls on the River Severn are:

The most famous of the many waterfalls and flumes in the first few miles of the River Severn's existence.
